  1. Today was AWESOME!!! We hiked all the way to the top of Table Mountain! It definitely built character and was not what I was expecting. The trail to the top was not your average dirt path like we’re used to in good ole South Carolina- each step was a massive one up a small boulder! It was an experience of a life time! I am so glad I had the opportunity to hike one of the seven wonders of the world! This was definitely the highlight of the trip for me thus far. Even though the hike up was intense I made sure to take pictures even though they do not begin to describe just how amazing this mountain is.

  2. Day 3 started with going to church. We went to St. James church. This church is a historical site because there was a massacre at one of their night services that killed 11 people. This church was a lot like our modern churches where there is a lot of singing and praising God. I was very surprised at how welcome we were by the congregation. They were so nice and filled us in on things we should do in South Africa. That afternoon we hiked Table Mountain, one of the seven wonders of the world. I said that we climbed Table Mountain because this was a huge undertaking. This mountain was full of straight up trails that we all rocks. It was like running stairs for 3 hours. Even though it was a hard thing to do it is something that I will never forget and am very proud of finishing. This day was a very tiring but exciting day!

  3. The view from table top mountain is one of the more glorious wonders you can experience. You really feel as if you standing atop the world as you look out to nothing but ocean to one side an then down into the city life on the other. It truly is and inspiring site. One of the more interesting things to watch is the development if the infamous table top mountin table cloth. It’s starts pretty small and then moves to engulf the mountain top and slide down the mountain side towards the city. Being on top that mountain was an awesome experience that will have a lasting impression.
